I fought with this design so much it's ridiculous. Bug anthros are hard to make personable or feminine in a lot of cases without losing the uniqueness of the species.

Yeah, and it's hard to do their...mouths, of all things. Or make them look segmented and exoskeleton-y.

I think drawing her enjoying another one of their kind would have gotten the gender across quite clearly.

But that is because I'm wired on cookies and easily amused. But yes, came out very awesome. I really like the way you did the hands and arms. The fingers plus the typical scythe of a mantis came across clearly.

I really like her hands a lot :> they translated into the mantis design really well

I used to be able to catch them around here, but I can never find them anymore. :c We still get cicadas though, and those are adorable.

The little smile, but still with mouthy bits, the raptorial fore-hands, the feminine touch of the eyelashes, her back shield, the mixture of the two species, it's all so awesome! The color scheme is just great too! She's just so fantastic, I have no words. Just anthro enough without losing her invertebrate awesomeness. So much
