Having someone to talk to is good, and no matter how well-meaning friends and family are, sometimes, they just don't compare to someone who really KNOWS what they're doing. (I'm also glad you eschewed the stereotypical couch in favor of chairs.)
And Zig Zag? Now that's interesting! I'm just imagining an alternate world now where her own life went differently and where she ended up in a different profession - I'm sure she'd be good at it.
Interesting how they're both barefoot in the last panel.

Aye, I thought so - the combat boots he was wearing before seemed very much like a symbol of protecting yourself against the world.
She very much seems like a worried mother in the last panel, too. It must be very difficult at times for therapists to keep their professional distance - it's a fine line to walk, and it'll take an emotional toll on you when you have to do it, too. I'm less concerned for her, of course (you don't enter this line of work if you haven't learned how to handle this), but I'm really hoping that he'll heal, as it were.
Of course, already knowing what the future has in store for him makes that a bit of an academic exercise, too. Oh well, I'm still crossing my claws for him.
(And I really have to applaud you for your ability to put so much emotion into your pictures and make viewers connect with the scenes and the characters so much. I can't think of a single other artist off the top of my head who can match that.)
