Once again, lack of sleep has forced my hand to try once more to put a Pokemon in a business suit for reasons I wish I can explain.
Well, no, this one I CAN explain, somewhat. During an oC session with
ebonyleopard I did a vague doodle of various Legendaries in suits, among them being this rather flamboyant Deoxys (Attack forme). This in turn led me to want to flesh the design out a bit more to see if I can come up with a character in the process...which I sort of did.
So here we have Gene Dasn (pronounced 'dah-sin') the Deoxys, who despite making a cameo in said
pokecombatacademy-themed sketch may well not make much of an appearance in the school proper (save, perhaps, while accompanying Miss Delalune to watch the combat tests, though that's just one crazy thought I could well be hit for). For some reason I see him specializing in legal affairs, a lawyer perhaps.
Even if nothing comes of it, though...hey, Deoxys in a suit. Whoo.

*Yes, he can switch to the other forms and Normal mode is actually his preferred choice for when he's not working. Defense mode he tries to avoid altogether since that one makes his clothes stretch and most of his suits cost an arm and a green tentacle to even get!

I think the whole fam damnly have been successful...my girl is a great teacher but sort of submissive. Maybe Gene was a cousin who acted the part of protective big bro? Encouraged her to apply to the Academy, the best of the best? Of course, his envelope-pushing probably didn't hurt her chances. ;>
Shoulders? Why not, they're our 'morphs!
And that sounds about right: I can well see Gene being alot more caring for family (especially, say, a close cousin who he grew up with) than people would give him credit for, he just has a bad habit of being a bit too enamored with his work (or rather, enamored with the cash he gets from it).
