When Blade found out that Marijke liked katars, he fetched a pair from his collection and challenged her to a little duel.

Mostly, she nervously treats it as something of a dance - foot-movies, cool; actually using things things against an appoinent, uh, difficult! - and tries her best. Her opponent, however, is already a master and nimbly dances around any of her attacks. To keep up her spirits, Blade even blocks a few blows to let her think she's not a complete failure.

At some point, he retreats and she takes the moment to catch her breath, then he makes his real strike - first hiking up his skirt (uh, what are you doing?? Why would you DO that??)... and then takes out his secret weapons, which Marijke had not known about: Two throwing knives which he keeps strapped to his thighs almost always. He aims them right at her with a deadly look in his eyes, but actually purposely throws to the side of her body. Then he immediately dashes forward before she's recovered from her fright over the "attack", disarms her and tackles her to the ground all before she hardly knows what's hit her. With a knee placed firmly upon her, pinning her down beneath him, he gloats with the other throwing knife in his mouth - 'cause Blade is badass.

And Blade always wins.
