Mini Doll! Made in my spare time, finished sewing him on the way to thanksgiving dinner yesterday so I had my mom model a picture.
These will be for sale in my shop soon and as simple commissions! By simple I mean I will make simplified versions of characters in this size.
I held a poll and prices are suggested at $60-$100 depending on the time and complexity of each one. We will see!
Dolls this size have been requested on multiple occassions for those who want to own a doll but can't shell out the regular price for one. <3 Trying to keep everyone happy.
This is also the size I will make doll trades in the future if I can do trades, which still looks bleak at the moment but only the future can tell us that ;(
Despite his size he was quite a bit of work.

hehe ^-^ thank you I'm glad you like him! I know!!! I'm quite attached to him myself now, why did I make the face so cute? XD
I think the eyes were my favorite part, I was like, fire! And then right after I painted him I saw there was a fire wolf special on adventure time that looked sort of like him, so weirdddd

This little guy took about 7 hours plus material so I'd have to price him at at least $60-$70 to make profit but since he is a prototype that may have been why he took longer. I was thinking of going a little smaller/simpler for $40-$50 but I'll have to make some more prototypes first. Yes they are very small but I also spend hours just scratching in details like fur and scales, if I made them smooth they would take much less time which would lower the price, I could make that an option so to make them more affordable :)
Ooh and I was thinking of having specials on them sometime too, like free shipping or a % off or something. I'm just overflowing with ideas XP It would be fun to hold a contest and give one away as a prize too, I'd be spending 2 days on the prize instead of 2 weeks so it would be much more do-able
well i would love to get a pair if you can do twin tails and one with hair :3 XD i mean its honestly your plan i understand its detailed and stuff but i was just staing thtat would be a decent price for the size taht they are but i understand maybe hwen you do more it might not be so time consuming, though honestly i have nothing against price ill pay whatever amount i wish for something like this, maybe you could do discounts for pairs cause id love to get three from you :3
Haha I tend to over-explain everything I'm sorry :P I just myself get annoyed when commissioning and I'm like ahh why is that so expensive?! It makes me feel better when there's a little explanation to go along with prices, but that was of course before I started making dolls myself and knew how much time and money went into them XD
And I wanted to thank you because I love input, anyone who can figure something out 100% themselves without the input from others blows my mind, even if I don't outwardly use advice its still very helpful in making decisions :)
I can definately make twin tails and hair, I'm ordering lambswool that can be dyed, curled, and straightened like real hair for a haired commission I have coming up and made sure to get enough to have plenty left over ;) That would be a good example of a more detailed one :)
Yeah that's a great idea! I like the sound of it, I'm definately going to start working on all of these ideas just as soon as I get a bit of sleep, I'm on going on 60 hours without it XD I'd be happy to get some more info from you on the dolls you would like in the future (no rush just curious!) and such like that ^-^ I'm glad you like them enough to want 3!!!
