I love this guy a lot. I mean, giant fluffy blind cave monster with gemstones/rocks growing from its back? Pretty damn adorable. Not to mention when they open their mouth they appear to be smiling. Nameless until further notice.

I imagine them to be around 10 to 12 feet tall, maybe bigger. But still pretty massive. They live in cold caverns and feed off of the minerals within. The large gem on the tail glows at all times, despite them being blind, and is used as a way to ward off potential predators on the rare occasion they break the surface. It flashes brightly, stunning foes and allowing them to escape. They are mammalian reptiles, meaning they have scales, but are warm blooded and do not lay eggs.
