lol.
The City of Corpus Christi Texas has spent this past year renovating the iconic Harbor Bridge, the 8th largest bridge in the United States. After they scraped off the rust, mended any weak areas and repainted the trusses, they installed a new Light system to replace the older one that was finally shut down in 1992.(http://media.caller.com/media/img/p.....arbor_t300.jpg).
The newer rig, Despite it being more complex, should cost less to run for the city as it runs on LED bulbs. The entire new rig costed approximately $400,000, however, $300,000 was paid for by the Bank of America as a donation.
This picture was taken by me while they did a test run for the rig. This may not be the final design, but it will be completed by December, as well as be used to run a light show along with our new year's fireworks. (image taken from the POV at the docs near the Science/history museum.
