After school was over i had the URGE to draw a bit for myself :) and here it is.
More batman furry will come up ;).
Mister Freeze animalistic version.
before you begin with the ice puns first an character description.
I remember a time where i read that Freeze was suppossed to be someone who is obsessed of freezing living things, why? cuz he was EVIL! but then the TAS came up and they re-designed him from a psychopath to a character who is tortured soul to save his bride Nora, so he was a sad character but i remember Dr.Strange's profile saying that Freeze suffers from a high anti social behavior and a selfish personality, only caring not to save Nora but to please himself, wich is a very interesting aspect of the character, i mean he could have cured Nora from the very first beginning if he just shared his genius to the company and they could have help him with his research, but no he decided to hide it for himself and steal money for his research and look at the consequences.
I always liked this villain very much and i am proud of this pic, so i hope you like this version
FREEZE WELL!

OH my freaking GODS that is an INCREDIBLE rendition of the anthro version of Mr. Victor Freeze.
DAYM hon.. when it comes to such things as "anthro-izing" (forgive that spelling.. please.. but I think that's close enough) such fameous characters of DC and < I'm assuming> general comic's fame
you do absolutely FABULOUS WORK!
Hrmm, polar bear. Taimou already kinda hinted at the idea that Mr Freeze might have started out as an animal that used to be unsuited to the cold.. but a brown bear is fine with cold weather, too!
Imagine something that thrives in heat, like some desert-dweller, suddenly confined to these freezing temperatures. *shrugs*
This picture works just fine as it is, though, of course! I'm not trying to be contrary.

This is one reason I really hated The Batman that came afterwards. Turned Mr. Freeze back into the original Mr. Freeze. Though I suppose the Arnold version is 'canon' in the sense that it harks back to the old Mr. Freeze. Either way, those people are dumb and should feel bad. Batman Beyond at least carried on the legacy.
TAS Batman paved so many paths into the Batman canon, essentially rewriting Batman for an entire generation.

Yah, I love Mr. Freeze because of that confusion on wether we should think of him as a tortured soul or not. Not to mention pure intimidation factor, a walking tank with little to no soul apparently. Especially that cybernetic voice and his manerisms, that slow "I've taken every percaution in defeating you and that there is no way you could defeat me" walk. What can I say, he's a great villian and I like your revision of him.
haha, nice! What series/episode was that from?
I really need to get the Animated series. They always did such interesting things with all the Batman villains. I don't think there was a single one they ever just used as a throwaway character.
Also, I think it's only a matter of time before they do another movie with Mr. Freeze, and get him done right.

Well, it was in the animated series, first episode Mr. Freeze was in. I think it was called "Heart of Ice"
I'd like to belive that, though the writer and director of the new movies are trying to go a more 'realistic' aproach and I think the Freeze Suit might go a tad to far into the SciFi catagory.

There are ways around that, though! They could use a typical environment suit reinforced with metal plates and machinery; something like a cross between a haz-mat suit and an old diving bell uniform, with a refrigeration unit on the back and other doodads. Make it look like it serves a purpose and is advanced tech without going too far into sci-fi with the robo-suit.
Have you ever seen a flower die? Watched something that was once so beautiful, so full of life, collapse and rot from within?

I think that's more hugo strange's interpretation of things, and keep in mind strange is the kind of guy who thinks bruce wayne is batman because it's out of some deepseated powertrip, not that bruce actually does it because he fights for a day when gotham no longer needs him,and no child will ever suffer the tragedy he did;in victor's case, the corporation, gothcorp gave the image of being a "people company",when really, its boss ferris boyle was just a conceited corrupt a-hole who cared more about making money;money that victor put up a good debt for his unauthprised experiments months and weeks after his funding had been cut..but that's just my opinion, just wanted to put it out there, you know?to each their own
Out of all of Batman's Villains, Mr. Freeze happens to be my favorite. I was first introduced to the character by Batman: TAS and has enjoyed almost every incarnation of the character since. In my opinion, Hugo Strange's profile of Mr. Freeze is correct. He is very anti-social and he is selfish. You can argue with me about that second part, but think about this. We all eventually die, it's a fact of life. As tragic as it is that Nora gets some incurable disease that will eventually kill her, it's still part of life. Instead of spending time with what little time he has with his wife and working on a cure before or after her death to prevent someone else going through what he went through. He ended up putting her in a cryotube and freezing her until he has a cure, but from what I understand, and correct me if I'm wrong, he did so without her permission nor did he care of the consequences. It was just something he did because he refuse to let go and while that is understandable, it isn't his choice to make.
That being said, I love this picture!!! This happens to be my new favorite Fan picture of Mr. Freeze! While I would have liked to see blue lights and some black on the armor to give it that TAS coloration, I absolutely love the armor design and I love the faded silhouette of Batman in the background. Combine that with the broken helmet and glass case, and it has that vibe that a major fight just ended.
With that being said, I was wondering if you would all this Freeze-Fan to post this picture on Facebook and use it as a profile picture?
