As promised, here is the first set of WIP images for my latest "large - scale" image I mentioned in my journal. I tried not to spend longer than 5 minutes on the small pieces and 10 on the larger ones so that they wouldn't become full-blown images on their own. To be honest I don't know how successful I was at keeping to my time limits, but oh well.
I put the chest straps on the pegasus before I realized that straps like that wouldn't work because of the wings :(. To tell the truth I'm kind of attached to them, they help keep his armor on. Another problem I ran into was that none of the characters can really have armor since it will slow them down and tire them faster during combat, so they're all going to be a little less protected than I'd like, but it will save me a lot of headaches in the future with detailing the characters for the final image.
Anyway, let me know what you think so far!
