...my cat Kyampu.
Some pets will go along with you for the rest of your life, even if they're gone.
Kyampu was one of those pets.
I've found him back in 2003 on a campsite. He was a stray kitten, suffering from cat flu. I took him home with me.
He was so tiny, he couldn't even jump on my bed by himself, but because I wanted to have him by my side I put him in a basket, gave him a t-shirt as blanket and took the basket with me, when I went to sleep.
But almost every night he crawled out of it under my blanket and curled up beside me.
When he grew up, he learned to open doors, so he often was found in my wardrobe sleeping on my clothes.
He was such a smart little pal.
2007 I left home because of my job. I lived in a living community where I couldn't take him with me, so my mom took care of him.
I visited him every weekend in those days.
2009 my mom told me via e-mail, that she had to put him to sleep.
He was suffering from a bad disease for more than a half year at that time. We tried everything to cure him, but nothing really worked...
When I got the e-mail, I wasn't able to work for the rest of the day. I went to my room and cried, like I've never cried before.
Sometimes they're days like today where I miss him really bad.
I will always love him, no matter what.

The scanner ate all the shading and coloring again. His eyes look all yellow after scanning, but they're suposed to have some green in it.
He loved to lay there on the back, watching me doing whatever I did, so I decided to draw him like that.
