I did this as a peice of an art trade for Arania, and since i was back and forth with commissions at the time, i decided to try my paw at her infamous musketeer character, Ambrose.

i think it turned out well :D

Dynamic posing, indeed, but the background kinda displaces it...but I can't say anythin' because my backgrounds are generally pick a color and stick with it. Beyond that the character is well drawn, and the personality of the character is very visceral and strong.

haha, that brush is freakin' tempting XD All in all I'd say you've grown by leaps in bounds in the style of your art, a step above the original cartoony cel shaded style.

actually he will, as the character still has hands, albeit paw-like but still able to grip things. he doesn't shift into a completely feral form. but this hybrid form has benefits too :)
