Recently downloaded the trial of Painter 12, so I could see the amazing leaps and bounds the program has taken since version 8.

Haven't found a real difference that affects my normal use for the program other than the snappier interface making things seem smoother. It DOES perform faster when using large (really large) brush sizes, but I don't use 'em enough to care.

Also, I feel like I'm about to be punched for not doing my best. Again.
