When I'm not a whale, I am a wyvern. I've sort of been bouncing back and forth which one is my 'sona lately, so I figured I'd post this here as well.

I only drew the wings/legs on this side. This being more "reference" than "artsy-fartsy," I didn't see where it mattered. They're the same on each side, after all. Actually, there's a lot I didn't draw, mostly because I don't have much time or opportunity to draw anymore.

Some things people tend to get wrong/aren't shown in the reference:
He only has two toes on each foot. As far as anatomy goes, they're quite similar to ostrich feet, except that there are claws on both toes, not just the big one.
The tail blade is shaped like a sharpened oval; it's not triangular.
The birthmark around his eyes is flipped vertically around the other eye.
Please don't draw him with an elbow spike. It's a pet peeve of mine.
