From the mountain tops
To the depths of the ocean
Raw energy is spent in a name
That is immortal

Until…

The fall from grace is never gentle.
In a tail spin of chaos,
The god’s ‘IM’ breaks away
And he becomes but a man.

Love…

Finds him bleeding and broken.
As she tends to his healing
Learning comes to teach.
Deeds soon follow;
patriarch of godly ascendency.

Climbing this pathway the ‘IM’ is won back
And the mortal is restored to immortality.

We sometimes need to break a circle in order to grow stronger to be able to reach the stars in the distance. This is a project I have thought about for a long time to collect as many ideas as possible to depict a story of a very deep character, focusing on the one and single character only. I started it some months ago and was able to complete it just these days. In time I added more ideas, read more, grew more into the story.

This is a gift for a very great friend, who supports me and who sacrifices a lot of time to listen to me and to give valuable advices. I wanted to give him something back, at least something visual because my words are by far not as strong and inspiring like his.

This is my way of appreciation. And finally, I hope I did this amazing character, Kayin, justice.

It turned out to be a collaboration with  foxamoore since he worked on an amazing character theme to interpret the story of Kayin. In the end and due to his incredible patience this turned out a bigger project than planned.
