Jico is very happy go lucky in nature but under the fluffy exterior is a layer of steel of will and determination, honed from a very early age, which helped him greatly against his bully problem. First he got bullied because he was small and his mane looked girly, later because his favorite way of vengeante was seducing the bullies's sisters or mothers. Most bullies however learned to stay out of range of his psychosensitive hair,.

He honed his body from an early age, fist to fend of bullies and then to fight crime, and recieved psychic and martial arts training from his father and one of his father's best friends, Lich Master Kouchan.
His father is none other than Jiaro, a wandering hero, adventurer and womanizer and his mother a girl from his fanclub. He inherited the psychosenitive hair from his mother and the amount of psychic might from his father.
His hair only grows in energy storage capacity as it grows in length, the stored energy allowing him not only to increase the strength of his tendirls but to form offensive and defensive fields and cab be projected in a variety of ways, from healing to offensive barrages. Each hair also serves as antenna and combined they give him a limited psychic radar. While it is not as strong or as fine as a genuine psychic sense it saved his life numeours times as he grew up to an even greater womanizer and adventurer, than his father.

He is not the only of Jiauro's children that turned out a super and and has fought several of his siblings who turned super villains.
