So this was my first attempt at making a Transformer character as a commission, using a Ford Fusion as the base.
Having known  exatron for awhile, I'm well aware of how he ticks, so I tried to design the robot the way he likes his characters, and had to backtrack into the transformation around that. While cheetahs are generally associated as being sorta scrawny things, Exatron prefers to think of them as beefcake; it's not too hard to fudge, since while the RL cat isn't particularly heavy, it's fairly massive in the chest and thighs. Fairly long legs would be ideal, and fortunately the car seems to have a pretty decent-length hood to work with. Also, Beast Wars' Cheetor typically had fairly large shoulder pads for whatever reason.
Thus I used the rear of the car to bulk out the shoulders, kept the bumpers on the forearms for extra mass, doubled the rear doors partially over the front doors to make the torso more v-shaped, and used the hood as a "samurai" skirt to fill out the hip area (over what are fairly bulky thighs by Transformer standards). It's a fairly intricate transformation, including folding down the middle third of the rear since it's not needed for the arms, but I think it's relatively realistic.

The OTHER challenge was using his ice-blue car and making into an ostensibly cheetah-colored robot. I had to keep the yellow parts to a minimum. And I messed around with several shades of yellow, and while this is less Cheetor and more Bumblebee, it matched the best with the blue and is recognizeably yellow (beige/khaki matched, but started looking more cougar-ish).
