color doodle part2
Some of the color effects aren't bad, but the weaknesses of the base drawing come out. Rather than grind away at some fixes, I'll do another.

Not trying to sound disrespectful at all when I say this, but I can't find anything weak about the drawing. I love her positioning and how you drew her wrapping herself in her garments. The background is just enough to show the sort of landscape she lives in but is sparse enough to show us that cold and isolated sort of feeling she probably has in the moment. I personally think it's effective, but, as I said, I'm not trying to be disrespectful. Only you know what you're truly trying to convey, and these are your characters you're trying to flesh out. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the piece is very much so enjoyable.
The problems are in the drapery. The upper wrap ought to have some indication of her arms folded inside and the lower wrap doesn't really do anything. Then, the lighting implies there ought to be some fairly hard light and dark and i pretty much pooted that, mainly in not defining it all in the preliminaries.
As a general concept sketch, the piece was just fine, but the level of detail and definitions brought out in the coloring shows where I did and did not give a consistant level of attention to form and light.
And the staff isn't straight.
