So here's a little taste of something I'm working on. I guess this is a sorta hip hop chill trance mix or something, lol. Once again, any help of genre specifics would be helpful. XD Hope you guys like it. This piece kinda gives me a cool visual, I see this song being played as the world comes to an end, and people discover who they really are and what really matters to them. Hope you like it, also if you didn't notice, I looped the last part of the song to give it a bit more running time, it'll be different in the final version. ^_^

Out side of its gentle mellow tones and beat, it would make a good backdrop if you were going to make the sound much more hard core, I personally like the soft way it is now. It in a way kind of at the moment reminds me of elevator music, also is there such a genre called New Age Trance because that is how I would categorize this WIP at the moment; it is well done so far I like.
Those are some sick pads and I love the synth's melody. You also have some awesome chord progressions going on here. It gives like, a sense of wonder and optimism with just a hint of sadness. I can see the whole self-discovery thing really well. It works! Perhaps add a nice smooth bass in there at some point to give it some bottom? Either way I'm looking forward to hearing more!
