nrrg hand sewn spots because this fur does not take airbrush well.
lion leopard
the spots are taped on because I have a photo studio santa gig thing with the unicorn next weekend and need something to do during that 3 hours when I am not tending to my sister in costume.
thing is the spots alone will likely take more than 3 hours to sew X_X
oh and ma socks match XD

Oh hell, I hate sewing in tiny patches....
You have my sympathies...Thats the kind of work I just won't do anymore.
(In my case it was costuming in fabric...I still do some costuming, but will NEVER do patchwork again.)
Do you heat-seal the edges of the patches before sewing?
I found a tutorial from a Russian fursuit maker a few years ago who uses a soldering iron to cut, seal and fuse edges to make seamless suits.
Amazing stuff, but he took the video off of youtube at some point....
He claimed the heat cutting meant no hair shedding- much neater and cleaner working.
