Well, my good friend Kevin has loved playing Necron's since... he started playing Warhammer.
So in celebration of the new Necron's Codex, I had this little beauty made up!
The base is of a Destroyer lord- the torso is off a "Classic" necron lord - the head is from a destroyer. The staff is also from the "Classic" as is the lord. The Warscythe is from the new kits.
As you could imagine, he was rather happy.
I had the models commissioned: Necron Destroyer Lord was assembled and painted by Blue Table Painting: www.bluetablepainting.com

Hehe, yeah. I agree that the cape is cool. Imotekh's is similar and quite awesome as well. Friend of mine had the idea of using the Classic Lord as a Cryptek, and I can see that work much more than using him as a Lord.
Anyway, cool conversion. I'm sure you buddy will be thrilled :)
