The devil denied her salvation and was cast into purgatory, damaged and defeated. Her lot was hardship, but still she knew her choice to be the right one. She followed her heart and rejected her flesh and blood, even as the angel begged her fallen sister to reconsider. There was not a place in heaven for her.
I had a really good time drawing this one. Background is typical purples for me. I wanted a good balance between the two characters, which to my eyes was accomplished.
I feel like I'm getting better, I just need to improve my line art.

I think you have a very interesting style in your linework. In my opinion, the only thing it could use is some width variation - your style could lend itself to that quite well, I think.
I really love the devil girl's costume, nice design, and a good choice of colors ^_^ The jagged look around the trim really appeals to me.
