Oh my god! Wow, this was such a pleasant surprise, thank you so much! I have to say, that is the coolest way to draw the tail ribbon ever and I am going to draw it like that from now on! I also really like the colors of your character, they're really pretty and eye grabbing. I never think about reddy oranges and blues together, but whenever I see them it always looks so nice.
I also remember that! Funny enough, it was one of the most memorable parts of the con for me - pleasant talking without the constant noise of the artist's alley

Yeah, i'm all about the guerrilla fanart... >_>; THere's no point in having a ribbon if it doesn't have twisty-every-which-way tails on it -- sailormoon and anime taught me that (also, I forgot yours didn't). ;) Those aren't actually "my" "real" colors, either -- I consciously draw a different dragon for myself every time (unless i'm in a hurry). I've been big on the fish fins lately. it was dinosaur beaks for a while before.

That was just about the most comfortable and best situated couch ever. ;)

That couch was awesome. I think they put it there just for people to wait for the ponies to be released. Good god that panel lasted forever.

bah. it's easy. just draw a grumpy dragon with glasses and you're fine. ;) Also, don't worry about return art! It is neither expected nor required. I tend to only do fanart when stressed or up waaaay too late, so I don't really feel like they're deserving of being considered gifts for reciprocal purposes. ^_^;
