I am going to try my hardest to have a cosplay of this done for Fanime, it means working overtime so as not to slow down commission work but all I need is the squees of some fans to make it all worth it.
I arranged this to be my desktop so I can imprint the head design into my brain. My computer also hooks up to a TV, so this will be on a TV across the room as I work on the head.
I decided to post it here for ya guys to use as well for drawings or whatevers since it did take some time to compose. Download for full size (3 times as big as this)
all the screen shots were taken off of my TV. I also included a shot of the life sized bird they had at E3 (I think) which I found online, shots of almost every other bird we ge to see (aside from the green and gold ones) and shots I found online of shoebill cranes, which I am 99.9% sure is the bird that inspired the loftwings. (and no it did not hurt the duck, the story is it got mad at the duck, picked it up and dropped it)

I am starting to think I should ditch the moving jaw for the sake of ease and comfort. I want the head above my own with a mesh view/ventilation port under the beak and a fan in the beak...but at the same time I REALLY want to be able to open the mouth and squak (and nom a Link cosplayer's head)

Oh phew, you almost gave me a heart attack! I thought you had already done this much work on it through what I saw in the thumbnail. xD
Anyways, best of luck with it! I think you're really going to have a blast with this one :D Might want to make sure there's no way anyone can spontaneously attempt to ride you, like with the Oocoo you put on Epona <:3
