Eyes Bigger Than... What Now? (Part 3/3) -- by Fidchellvore
If the Pakkun’s swallowing power was fast, what came after was even quicker. The loud throes of struggle and swallowing quieted down, giving way to the no less quiet lullaby of digestion.
The Pakkun pressed down and buried its paws into its own pudgy, pillowy belly, letting out a happy sigh and panting for breath as the rounded bulge shrank a little more with every blurk, blup, and gurgle.
KD was larger than any other creature this Pakkun had had the pleasure of devouring before. To utterly absorb such a magnificent specimen of a dragon was nothing short of a heavenly experience. So heavenly, indeed, that the Lizard was not merely content to digest the dragon’s body, but his soul as well. Personality, memories, a lifetime and more of experiences… every last bit of individuality that the dragon could have laid claim to was merrily gurgled away into nothing but pudge and energy.
After one last lingering groan, the Pakkun’s gut fell still and silent once again, shrunk back to its original size, if not for a brand new layer of blubbery belly-pudge. The Lizard let loose with a huge and satisfied BURP, the scent of dragon heavy on its breath. It would be the last thing to hint at the existence of the black dragon... not the first to be consumed by one of the voracious little reptiles, and certainly not the last.

Luckily, since the dragon is me, and I paid for this little graphic vignette, I get to say the dragon isn't dead, and in fact happily lives on as part of an adorable and voracious pakkun lizard.
Is Ascending To A Higher Plane Of Existence a bad thing?
Is Ascending To A Higher Plane Of Existence a bad thing?
What I am saying is it makes me sad when a dragon dies, and getting digested means you are dead. Saying you live on inside of another being as just fat doesn't make it any better, the dragon still died and without a soul to move on means it never went to a higher plane of existence it means it was wiped from existence like it was never there
Oh, I see now. You're using the term figuratively, like when Kevin O'Leary tells people, 'You're dead to me.'
He doesn't mean they're actually dead, because they're clearly standing right there talking to them, just like I'm here typing to you.
