I absolutely adore your icon, and this is just delightful! It's so great to see a 'toony' fursuit that has depth and character which translates well to 3D... and it's even cuter in person! You and Deo make a great costuming couple.
(If that made any sense! Sorry, I'm a bit overtired) o_o

I was really excited when I found out this moment was captured with high shutter stuff instead of just one pic. It turned into the perfect little icon.
Yeah I love this style of suit where it's still toony but still real enough that it looks good :3
and thank you, it was a blast costuming with her, I was glad one of us could talk X3

Listening to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAqL.....eature=related while seeing this made me smile :3
wait.... I thought these kinds of .gifs weren't allowed on FA siting they are "live action videos" Didn't
have over ten images JUST like this removed not even two weeks ago by Dragoneer himself? Im not trying to be a dick here, but I just don't see how it's fair Ben has all these images removed, but yours stays. I feel a little clarification is in order, since on the forums it was stated any "live action" gif wasn't allowed, it has to be drawn.

There was actually a lot of misunderstandings about this particular rule and how it should be handled. The intent was to prevent people from uploading "soundless video" from being uploaded.
I am aware of the issue of Benchillas images and that particular case has been discussed at length using my own images as an example.
It has come down to whether or not a .gif is an image or video file. I am not in the position to tell you now what that answer is, but I can say that it absolutely will be covered in the next AUP. I'll see to it, and when the decision is made official I will either take this down or personally tell benchilla he can upload again.

Like I said, not trying to be a dick, just trying to clarify. There is a lot of admin favoritism so its always hard to tell what's really going on. Even more so when Dragoneer is directly involved and threads have been locked. Thank you, however for trying give what info you could an for being professional. Your response is appreciated.
I understand how you're feeling and I'm sorry I couldn't provide more information. I realize it all reeks of favoritism but we are attempting to lay down the most solid foundation for this rule so that it is clear why an image may be removed and why the rule exists. This is why it is taking so long since that initial incident.
Thanks for the concern and you weren't being a dick. It was a fair thing to point out and I hope to have the AUP update settled soon so that we can consistently and fairly deal with these live action animations.

Haha, I like that I just check this image randomly and see this.
I don't think we've ever spoken, but I appreciate the support. c: One of the gifs removed from my page was actually this gif, just with more frames and at a faster speed. It was pretty much pure favoritism that prompted this, but Fay has done a lot to try and set this straight (although I expect Dragoneer will just stay in the hole he digged himself instead of admitting fault), and I appreciate that immensely.
If you wanted to look at any of my deleted gifs for whatever reason, I put them up on my site. c: Unless you've looked at my page and are well aware of this. In which case, thanks grrlfriend.

I actually know of you through
I have been to a few meets and was at FB 32 in the purple Husky suit. I'm actually the one who runs
Not sure if we meet in person so to speak, but we have spoken briefly. I also saw your journals and forum post and was greatly annoyed as I found the verdict to be BS. However, I tend to stay out of stuff that isn't directly my business to cut down on drama. It wasn't until I saw this that I decided to say something. I hate favoritism with a passion so I felt some clarity was required. Best of luck. *salutes* Also, many thanks for getting my gender right +5 internets!

Wait, people mistake you for a guy sometimes? Strange.
And oh, I love those suits, they're pretty spiff! That was actually the first Furststate event I've been to (unless running into furdurrs at Outfest in Philly counts, but I wouldn't think so), never actually was able to make it to any others. I'm looking forward to hosting the open mic at Furstivus on the 30th though, that should be pretty dope, especially since I think I'll actually do my make-up -correctly- this time (and not look like I belong at a trackmeet for anime characters).
And I feel you entirely. I usually keep my head out of these things, but it was kind of impossible to not say something. Life's too interesting to get bogged up in all that shit, and I think it just reaches a point where there's no use in fighting 'Neer. It's a private site, and it becomes obvious when he's just going to remain stubborn. Ain't no use in wasting precious finger energy on that shit than what's needed.

I know it's been a month, but I just thought I'd mentioned the AUP was updated to allow gifs. I'm happy that users like you were speaking up and I'm glad, we the staff could make the ruling more fair to others.
Hopefully we can cut out more favoritism from the site. hopefully.

I would just like to see a little more clarity with the update. As it stands now, or at least when I first read it, there is no clear cut way to determine what a "small" gif is. The way it is worded now, its a judgement call on the admin, and suffice to say, I don't trust the admin teams judgement. Still too much wiggle room. One admin says a submission is fine and then a week later another admin removes it. I have seen it happen. We need something solid. Like, "must be less then X amount of frames" or something to that effect. Otherwise we are going to have the same problem. This update hasn't solved/clarified anything in my opinion, though I do appreciate that you seem to be actively trying to rectify the situation.
As far as favoritism, its only going to get worse, but that's a whole other matter.

The small part was confusing but I do believe it was removed unless I missed it, because frankly it just needs to be smaller the the upload cap.
The current wording just makes it clear the videos (something which would be a video file and isn't supported anyway) are not allowed.
The other part just clarifies that the content will be judged using relevant aup sections
