A character that I'm trying to develop. I wanted a horse character, but I wondered what a horse would look like with a lion mane, so I took it from there.
Still deciding on the tail, how far down the chest the mane goes, and if his front feet should be hooves or cat paws (probably hooves to match the back hooves). The color is also pending, but probably a paint or regular lion colors.
I do a lot of sitting and facing away poses because I'm uncreative and don't look at actual pin-ups. Someone help me.

He's kinda like the Wolverine of equines... but with fewer sharp parts.
What if you coloured him like a paint, but instead of making the splotches black or chestnut or whatever, make them gold like a lion?
It might look weird... but it's an idea. :)
Do you avoid looking at pinups because you don't like them, or do you just not have any good ones to look at?

This is the one i was thinking of. ...hmmm, i suppose there's some borderline porn... more than i remember o.o
But there are a lot of links to artists, and some of the galleries are pretty good.
Alot of it is artsy stuff that might be too obscure/weirdly angled to be useful for poses, but seek and ye shall find!
There are quite a few similar things on google if you search for nude photography, or whatnot. but it's sefinitely possible that you might have to wade through a significant amount of crap...

flickr is a photo site. www.flickr.com Its a really good place to upload stock photos on, but now that anyone can get an account, you can upload any pictures you want. But for the most part, it has a lot of good stock like photos.
