My family's oldest dog Noppe died last Saturday... Rest in peace, my darling. I hope you have found better hunting grounds. I'll miss you.

He was taken by wolf. Never before had wolf come to village and killed a dog from yard (my granny and her friend said so). We thought it has happened at small hours. Noppe was deaf and half-blind (he would have been 16 years next March) and I'm pretty sure the wolf surprised him while he was sleeping outside his dog house. Noppe was killed not even 100 meters from our house and the wolf had dragged him few hundred meters away and left there. Wolf had not eated him nor ripped him, there was no blood and that has left me thinking that it killed him just for fun.

Noppe was born to our neighbours and when he was of age, I carried him to our home, it was in 1996.
Now, when my aunt and uncle found the body, my aunt came to get me and my brother. She took us to corpse and my bro said we'll come to get him later. I didn't want to leave Noppe there any longer so I took him in my arms and carried home last time.

I made a really long rant here what I'd like to do that wolf, but I deleted it. You can only imagine what my actions would be if I ever come across that wolf. It wont be pleasant.
