And not the kind that is followed with derp.
I fancy myself a budding herpetoculturalist. Now, It's become a bit of a joke between Rift and I now, that whenever he sends me a picture on the internet of a reptile, whether it be a tortise, a Slider or an Alligator I go, "Please PLLLEEEAAASSSEEE can we get one?" I am always met with a firm, "Nothing that can kill you."

You have to remember that they will eventually get huge and you need the enclosure space for them. And if you're renting ALWAYS clear it with your landlords cause most people don't specify against reptiles but they can cause issues. :P
I know I'll have to get a bigger enclosure for my kingsnake as he gets bigger but for now a 30Gallon tank is holding him nicely.
