'Tis the season.
It was the first holiday season that Adramelech had been able to remember in almost two hundred years. Owing to some memory problems that could be put down to the violent way he was expelled from his home, the Demon had to put up with an extremely short-term memory that left him with a very dull day to day life of marking souls for Hell for it was the only thing that he could remember.
All of that changed of course when he met Vempyremon. The girl that in many ways offered him redemption for his previous mistakes. He latched onto her quickly, though why he couldn't say. He felt it was his duty to be around her, to protect her. Of course he was sub-consciously try redeem himself and for a while it worked very well. The longer the two spent around each other, the more Adramelech began to heal. Not physically (the inferno-scars on his torso were permanent) but his mental state was almost back to the way it had been before his expulsion. Adramelech had a functioning memory again and he was very grateful towards Vempyremon for this, though she played down her role, not wanting to take too much credit for the healing she provided.
As the Christmas season rolled in, Adramelech stuck mostly to his apartment, he wasn't a fan of the cold. Vempyremon joined him most days, helping with putting up some decorations and even a little tree in the Demon's once bare-bones home. He didn't quite understand why people celebrated in the coldest, darkest part of year, but he enjoyed having Vempyremon for company, so he couldn't complain too much. His memory wasn't the only thing changing in him however. As the festive season began to enter full swing, the Demon felt himself longing for the company of someone else.
That someone else was Kain, the two were sworn enemies... or at least Adramelech thought they were. Why then did he wish that the ice Prince was here to celebrate with them? Deciding to confront Vempyremon, the Demon asked if she could bring him here. Naturally she was opposed to the idea. It was winter and Kain was extra frisky in winter. However, through constant nagging, Vempyremon eventually agreed, though she warned that nothing good could come of it. Feeling... happy(?) Adramelech waited for Kain to arrive.
Kain was only going to show up because of Vempyremon. He had promised her that he would be somewhat civil with the silver haired annoyance if only to please her. What he didn't expect was to be greeted by his enemy once he arrived. Adramelech stood in the doorway holding up something. Kain looked up at the mistletoe and then turned in alarm towards Vempyremon, who was watching in awe as Adramelech swooped in and smooched Kain on the cheek. His skin was so cold that for a moment Kain feared that Adramelech's lips would be stuck to his face. Thankfully the annoying Demon backed off, looking pleased with himself before uttering a set of simple words.
"Merry Christmas."
Please note, this is highly, highly non-canon. This is a fantasy that I came up with and in no way actually represents how this situation would go down if it actually happened. In fact, I believe that those two would rather tear each other's heads off first than kiss. But I don't think anyone would want to see that image would they?
Well I know I'd like to see this version of events anyway. Somehow I managed to convince my good friend V, that this was a good idea. That these two mortal enemies would look hot smooching. I'm quite glad I did as the end result is simply amazing.
I was going to post this on the 1st of December, but I couldn't wait, I had to get it up today.
Kain doesn't look too happy about what's happening, but who cares what he thinks really. He's gonna have to endure it.
This will not be the first of a bit of cheesecake staring these two. STAY TUNED TRUE BELIEVERS.
Enjoy!
