Commission intended as a gift from  raspberryroo to  sophiecabra for Sophie's birthday earlier this year.

These are their personal characters, Nova Burst and Compass Copper, who are students in a magic academy. Nova is trying to teach Compass about the stars, but he's a perpetually lazy student and can't seem to stay awake for the lesson.

Man, this took me a while because of all the frakkin' detail. Many times I start with a screenshot base for a background, but I had to work form scratch on this one. Took forever, but it was well worth it.
