Been wanting to do something like this for awhile. Out of all my characters, Cassius is the one I have the strongest sense of "environment" for. I've pictured the type of place he lives in, its construction, etc. for awhile, and finally got around to drawing it out. Perhaps I'll do an interior view some day.

Can't say it was inspired by Native American structures, but I did reference images of wigwams while drawing it. I was originally going to leave Cassius out of the picture, but felt it wouldn't be right to leave him out.

I also challenged myself to do a monochromatic image. I rather like the result. And I feel like I captured depth in the image, though not quite as well as I would have liked. It's improvement, at least.
