When you say you "took the image and edited it", do you mean it was drawn for you and you edited it, or did you take it from an artist without permission and edit it for your own use?

If the latter, I'm pretty sure that's against the rules.

It was a pic from my friend so i'm not sure if he had permission or not. He edited it for me and gave it to me as a fursona.

Then I would take it down just to be safe. In future, make sure you have permission from the artist before you go posting things. It's called "art theft" around here.

Technically it's not theft since I gave credit to the respected artist Buta_Chan. Let people know it's by him and that this version has been edited. So it's not art theft.

Just because you give credit to the artist and admit it's been edited doesn't make it any less theft. You still haven't proven that the picture was taken and edited with permission. What you did basically constitutes as admission of guilt.

Thank you. Had a friend make it for me. I suck with photoshop and such so he took an original picture that he got from someone. Edited it and gave it to me as a fursona. And I liked it so much I kept it.
