Its basically the queen form of a bunch of jungle dwelling lizards with social structures similar to ants.
I know im stealing a page from warhammer with the whole aztec lizardman approach, but i think it works so well that i dont want to do it any other way.

Same here, Warhammer is my life. And yes, the Universes are incredibly vast, especially the 40K one, although Warhammer FB also has quite a lot of content. I think its a shame that GW severed the two universes completely, but oh well, there wasn't that much of a link between them anyway.
