Just something I wrote a while back at the beginning of 2009
Through dark and light I made my plight.
I looked here and there and seemingly everywhere.
As the days had passed I began to notice
a hole that seem to never stop growing.
Something was missing that was definately true.
At first I didn't know what to do.
I'll fill the hole up that's what I'll do.
But How and with what. Nothing is Fitting.
For a while I thought I had found it
That missing puzzle piece or two,
but the glue didin't stick and the hole
It just grew. Now what am I going to do.
Then from behind as if I had been blind
Came a down hearted jester.
I'd seen him before but payed him no mind.
This time I looked closer and seen
He was looking for something, a similar ryhm.
Then just like that there was something new
Somewhere in that darkness, somewhere in that hole.
Something called out for the jester, To have and to hold.
I thought what the heck I haven’t tried there yet.
The Jester obliged, he had the same thought.
Now there’s a merry step to his walk.
And that hole wouldn’t you know it
Got plugged up real good and is now out of sight
Me and My jester are happy as larks
Especially when the room is all Dark.
Through dark and light I made my plight.
I looked here and there and seemingly everywhere.
As the days had passed I began to notice
a hole that seem to never stop growing.
Something was missing that was definately true.
At first I didn't know what to do.
