Definitely different styles. The UK version has much more subtle humor and I honestly like some of the characters. I thought Gareth was a hilarious personality and while Dwight fills his shoes in the American version, they aren't QUITE the same character.
In fairness, however, most Brits things almost everything American is trash. x3. That's just how it works.
