Man I'm working up quite the naughty to nice submissions right now aren't I? XD Lol anyways...
This adorable squirrel is going to be the star of my Christmas card this year. Every year I make my own Christmas card that I then order off a professional printing site into a set of cards. I then pass them out to my family and friends as a bit more of a personal touch to the holiday season. ^^
This year the card is gonna be centered on this sleeping little creature who dreams of nothing more than being one of Santa's reindeer. To be able to bring joy and happiness to everyone in the world, is just the bestest dream he could ever have.
This was a speed painting, so there's flaws but I don't mind it. I like to keep the painted effect to the card to help keep it look like it's home made and not just a photograph. Since it was a speed painting, the background was thrown on quickly and most likely won't be the same on the card itself. I'm debating about having him sleeping under a tree with acorn ornaments on it or something XD We'll see.
