Here was the other pic that I did today at work... I have no idea what possessed me to try doing a hydra TF, but overall, I think it looks.... ok?
Never done one of these before, and well, was a good challenge I guess.
Done in pen, hope you like it. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Sweet! I love how much this looks like a creature with real physical depth to him. He looks a lot less flat than most of (admittedly scarce) hydra TFs I've seen before. Of course, the neck/shoulder junctures and hands look a little rough design-wise, but it's understandable in a logistically difficult sketch like this one, and nonetheless it still looks pretty impressive. ^_^ Barreling out the torso to make room on the back for the extra necks makes sense, and you make it look fairly natural with the thick tail and modified chest shape.
...and now that someone's mentioned me in a post I'm self-conscious about how little I've set up my profile. Thanks. :P

Sometimes certain poses or aspects to the poses just lay out without any real issue, and then i run into specific parts of the body which, well, i wasn't thinking on so it looks a lot rougher than i would admittedly like.
And as for the post thing, hey, I just think it's cool to make sure to give credit for those who made the suggestion initially. =)
So you're welcome! We should try to chat at some point =)

Thanks so much. I really appreciate the compliment! I just have been really critical of my own stuff because the anatomy and flow has to look right in my head (which i think was the biggest cause of my art block in the first place). I'm really glad that you think they look real and gritty, since, that was the hopefully intended result i was aiming for with the pieces I have been trying.
*hugs* Thank you so much again. =D
