So! A story set on my science fictiony world of New Ionia. Long story short: planet named by the humans who came to colonise, only to discover artificially created species there: dubbed New Ionians.
This story takes place a hundred years after the first landfall ofthe colonists on the northern islands, which would be called the Human Isles soon after.
