Group shot in inks of the non-player characters in the game I run...when the PCs arrived at the sept, there were only five Gaian garou left to defend and maintain the caern. Not all are savory folk, and since the beginning of the game some have died or gone "missing"...... ;)
All are shown in their breed form. :3
In the foreground is the aged and raggedy Lupus Red Talon, Song of Winter Night, a Ragabash...sitting beside her on the rocks is Sturm, a Galliard of the Silver Fangs and something of a pariah due to past indiscretions. The short/smallish and scarred fellow with the rose-tinted spectacles is Vlad Dread-Naught, Philodox of the Shadow Lords and sept leader. Standing just behind him (and so much taller, too!) is his pack's beta and the caern's warder, Leif Calls-to-Battle, Ahroun of the Get of Fenris (I had to lol a little...he's technically a good guy but he's not always nice...or nice EVER...yes he does have a nasty tattoo on his chest. One of the players declared "He's a douche, but he IS a douche for Gaia...") and in the background is the sept's original resident metis, Ragabash Bone Gnawer Johnny Tows-the-Line.
Since the start of the game, Leif has gone "missing"...Vlad has been crippled in battle...Sturm lost an eye in the same battle...and in that same battle Johnny and Song of Winter Night both perished.
The game thus far has been a lot of fun, will be interesting to see how it unfolds! :D

Since I run the game, technically these are all my characters, but they are just NPCs...though I'm getting pretty fond of my Shadow Lord Philodox, the fellow in the glasses. :)

No worries on character deaths, it made the battle that much more terrible and poignant. The dice were not kind.........but to EVERYONE'S amazement, the player characters didn't get a scratch in that first fight! O.O Amazing luck!!!!

:O I know that, yes. I am a real BAD lucker with dice. It's horrible! My Game Master is also my mate. He always let's me take the merit Daredevil with WoD characters. o_0; Because I botch SO freakin much! It's really bad luck! I always get crippled in fights and then, with a last uproar I suddenly luck like hell with the dice and kill something. XD And then, I collaps. But I love my own characters too much to lose them because of a dice roll. I am glad my GM doesn't let that happen.

Loki - as my fursona - as my most beloved RPG-character, came into existence in 2004, if I remember correctly! I was so obsessed with him and the NPCs that I used to draw things from the game all the time in school. This http://www.furaffinity.net/view/525481/ is the very first image I uploaded at furaffinity. X) And it was the first image of Loki's 'Anthro form' I ever drew.
Loki ap Balor is a balor sidhe from Changeling: The Dreaming. It's my favourite game of the WoD, actually. :) Not many people like it, but I think they underestimate it... it has a vast and intimidating darkness if you play unseelie! And there's so much sex and crime and intrigue! Lovely! <3 Especially the Sidhe are such amazing folks! And the Balor Sidhe, who are half elven-like gods and half see-monsters, also interbred with the Black Spiral Dancers. I am so deeply dedicated to this Sidhe House I even considering having the crest tatooed on my skin. :)
Balor Sidhe are half sidhe, half monster combining unnatural beauty with cunning darkness of body and soul. As most Spirals, they are tainted and deformed, although they prefer the term 'challenged'- ;) I created Loki as my version of the norse god, and thus, I thought: He may change forms as he likes! There's an art (similar to gifts in W:tA) that makes the character able to change into whatever form he desires, and Loki is a master shape-shifter. In norse legends, Loki once turned into a mare to seduce the magical steed Svadilfari and got pregnant. He gave birth to Sleipnir, Odin's steed. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/908000/ As Sleipnir is a horse with four legs, but eight hooves, I came up with this character design and I thought Loki should also have such hooves. :) He's his fa.... mother after all. XD

He thinks nearly everything is funny, even if others don't. ;p Our campaign is located in London. Loki started out as a blacksmith but has his own horse stables as of now. :) In fae society he started out as a knight of the unseelie court, but is a baron now. He also has his own little freehold to protect (similar to caerns). And he is engaged to a lovely little Lady, Vanessa, a horse pooka. Pooka are mischievous fae who are able to shape shift into an animal, but only if no one looks at them while doing so.

Would you be interested in purchasing some of the old-style brown werewolf dice? ;) I'm thinking of ordering a thousand or so and looking for folks who might want a few. ^.^ They'll be exactly like the ones that came with the moon phase die... but I can't get that die made. But the rest will all look the same. :D
Oh wow, that is a LOT of dice! :D My roommate wants to collect dice, she has a tonne already but not that many!!! I had a great set of dice, they were so tiny the whole set could fit in a single pocket...they were tiny tiny tiny and they rolled sooooo good! But they were SO tiny I lost them all the last time I moved. :( I'm hoping next time I'm at Gen Con I can get more because they were the best dice ever! :D

I wish I understood Changeling better...I have the book somewhere and I did read it but I never really understood it very well! Plus my former roommate was really a bitch about it, she wouldn't teach me but she'd instead be mean about it because I didn't get it. Hey...is there any way you could maybe help me understand it a little better? :)

The tale of Loki and Svadilfari is one of my favorites!!! I'm not always too fond of Loki (I worship Thor) but some of the tales are really amazing, and for reasons I don't want to say publicly (but would share in a note if you wanted) the story of Sleipnir's conception is really meaningful to me. :) Someday I want to get a tattoo done of Loki-as-a-mare and Svadilfari, galloping away to make hot horse love, LOL! Where did his scars come from? And what significance does the Dæg rune have for him? I noticed he has it scarred into his shoulder and on a pendant in the refference sheet, I am very very curious!!! :D

Of course I would love to help you understanding changeling better! Is here any chance you use Skype? I also have AIM on adium, but rarely use it. I'd come online for you, though. But skype is the chat-prog I use frequently. :) I DO love changeling and I own all the books and every wod book in which changeling is mentioned relevantly - such as blood dimmed tides which is a rather interesting book for changeling players! There's two kith in there and three arts!!! 8D But no one nows! XD So I am very into it and might be able to 'teach you' the ways of the changelings. But I must admit that - like probably every wod or roleplayer in general - I have made up my own wod and shaped through my own understanding and preferences of the game. So my meaning of changeling is by no means objective! I also run a C:tD group on deviantart. Dunno if you post/are there but if you are, you might want to join? We have contests and discuss general changeling topics and the like as well as collecting changeling art.
You Svadilfari drawing is AWESOME! I always imagined him as a draft horse, though. :) But I do like it very very much! That gentle look on his face already hints for a lot of hot love to come. ;) And I sure am up for a personal chat or note! I am very interested. And ... hah! There's nothing to have against Loki while worshipping Thor, no? They were friends all along! Until things happened and it's all Odins fault, after all. I always get along with Thor-Folks very well. ;) Just prepare to be pranked!
I am Balor. My nickname says it all. ;) The first time I read about the Balor Sidhe, I was fascinated and then, when I got the Book of Houses II - I was smashed away. They are just so... so... so ME. It's the perfect fit. I never found anything in any game that fit me so well. It might be hilarious for others but... it's just how and what I am. I'd gladly tell you some of their story and beings in detail, if you like. :) And I, too, have very personal reasons why the Balor and Loki are so important to me.

The Scars on his arms are mine. I used to be auto aggressive as a teenager for many reasons. I wear them with pride, though. Very personal reasons, but they link the character to me on a personal level. The scar on his throat is a C:tD thing; The Balor Sidhe are the only fae folks who are able to bear the touch of cold iron (wich is like maybe silver for the werewolves or even worse, because a changeling killed with cold iron loses their immortal soul). The final ritual to become a Balor or better to proof your blood WORTHY to be of the family is to cut oneself with an iron blade and if you die or fret, you aren't worthy. Loki nearly died while cutting his throat too deeply. The scar is forever left on his throat.
Dagaz stands for Loki in some white magic rituals. It also stands for the color red, masculinity and the sun, or better heat, so some degree. It isn't present in his name as a letter, as it represents 'D' in the alphabet, though. The necklace or wristband is one I own in RL. It's carved and burned cow bone on a leather band of goat's leather. I used to wear it all the time, never putting it aside, not even to have a bath or shower. But the band ripped off at EF two years ago... I'll never forget that. :/ It came off a few times before and I always repaired it. And everytime it fell off me, something bad happened. I don't wear it at the time because I need a new band, but... :/ You remind me of putting it on again. Which is good, I abandoned it far too long. No surprise I was going through hard times without it's protection.

I think it is the way it is meant to be, when people put their own spin on the WoD. I know I for sure do it! I always warn players when I run a game that my idea of how it all works out is probably different than other people because it is so open to interpretation! :)
I used to have a Deviantart account but I forgot my password, and it is for an email I no longer have, so I can never log into that account again. I have been tempted to make a new account because I think it is an interesting site with a lot of good artists, but the site has changed so much I hardly know how to use it! :( But I do want to get onto the site again sometime soon...maybe I do that today and then I can join the Changeling group? :)
I have to admit I go back and forth between Svadilfari as a drafter and as a lighter horse...it is part of why I don't have the tattoo finalized, lol! But I have a long time to decide, because I am a little broke at the moment and I have other tattoos to get first...one is a memorial tattoo of a bluebird done in traditional sailor-swallow-style (bluebirds were very important to her, and we were very close, I miss her so much!) and another is a tattoo of a big rattlesnake with an american flag trapped in it's coils with the words "don't tread on me" in it somewhere. :) After the Svadilfari-and-Loki tattoo, I will want one for myself and my son (who lives with my ex)...it will be a mesh of American and Canadian patriotism since my son was born in canada and is a canadian, as is my ex. I lived there so long, I talk like I am still from Ontario! ;)

It is very good to have something for protection on, I too wear such things but different things, you know? I haven't worn them lately though because the medication I am on for my shoulder makes me nauseous and anything around my neck makes me feel worse, so I have been taking it off. It makes me sad because I would wear it all the time too, and even to sleep with it on. Sometimes I feel undressed without it...
I wish that you were closer, I could fix or replace the leather band for you. :( Actually I am being lazy with my leather crafts...I lost my cutter and scissors or knives don't cut it well or evenly, so I am not doing anything with my leather things. It is sad because I need to make one of my dogs a new collar, too, and I just haven't...so he is wearing this old ugly collar that smells funny right now. I feel like a bad owner, LOL!

You're such an interesting person! I really would like to know why you don't trust Loki. Generally speaking no one trusts him. *lol* I do, but I accept what he is. He has made fun of me several times and still does, but I know he means no real harm. I just need to beat into him that leaving me with this chronic illness isn't so much fun for ME. ;p *get's a club* I sometimes feel like I'm inhabited by him, but I don't have a good sense of humar, naturally. That didn't happen for some years, though. *shrugs* I am not THAT spiritual, though. I take things as life serves them.

I miss my son a lot...and I haven't been able to see him in a while. I only just found out I can probably go see him again in a little while, so excited! He's now six years old and awesome. :)

Every time I see it I am reminded of my rights and liberties and it makes me very proud. :) I want to feel proud and unconquerable all the time! :)
I don't mind lots of rambling, I actually like it when it is on a subject I want to learn about, so that's fine!!! :)
As for being ill, it really does. especially since I'm kind of in the middle of some stupidity...I have a re-check with my doctor tomorrow morning to see how I'm responding to physical therapy, but since the insurance people haven't cleared me to have physical therapy I haven't gone. How stupid is that?!
And too true, that nobody really trusts Loki! ;) Though I also have a little bit of fear of him, too.
I miss my son a lot...and I haven't been able to see him in a while. I only just found out I can probably go see him again in a little while, so excited! He's now six years old and awesome. :)
The rattlesnake is just because I have a streak of almost rabid patriotism, and I don't think that anyone can or should step on my rights. :) It comes from a flag that was very important historically, and people sometimes still fly it today: http://www.usaflagsupply.com/media/.....sdenflag_2.jpg

We really should talk on a messenger. :) I just don't use AIM often, I only use it on my Mac, too. And lately I haven't been on my MAc for a while and I also didn't have much time for talking on messengers. :/ The moce is really stressful and there's insanely much to do in insanely short time. I still dunno how to pull it off.

Insurances and being ill... it's a neverending story. In Germany the insuance system is still odd, but they pay for a lot of things. My move to Ireland is so very complicated and frightening for me because over there, most of the meds I take to be able to work are not available there and/or insanely expensive and the health insurance over there won't pay them. :/ I hoped so much and prayed a lot that my illness would cease so I could go and work and be happy once in my life but as of now... my prayers seem to be unheard. This gnaws on me a lot lately. To be honest, I am very depressed right now and see no way out...

Don't worry about it until after you move then, we can talk on messengers once you are settled! I hate moving, it is so stressful, so I will really hope it goes smoothly for you because I know how hard it can be. I wish you felt better, too, whatever it is that has afflicted you I hope it does go away.
