This is one of the things I did during the summer (at least I think that's when it was, it might have been earlier than that, though) that I've had lying around and keep busting out for reference for myself, so I thought I'd put it here so it's easier for me to find.
PLEASE DON'T COPY THESE! I don't mind if it gives people inspiration or whatnot, but they're not for free use. A couple are pretty generic, so in that case whatever, but in the end I really put a lot of time and research into making these. So it'd suck if people just yanked them, you know?

I don't mind if you steal little bits and pieces, just not the whole outfits ' w' What I do a lot to design an outfit is take, like, 5 pictures of outfits or pieces of clothing and combine them all. A really good bunch to look at is characters of Suikoden, the designs in that game are super great *u*
Maybe that's my weakness D:
I'd lose all self-respect as a man if I actively went and looked for a fashion magazine to go reference *n*
Another thing why I find these outfits so awesome is that they draw from japanese clothes, and others from ye olde times, y'know? I'm trying to like... make a canon kinda-sorta in that time period, and I need to design outfits that play the part, but I have a terrible time finding things to reference, so I have no idea where to start. I appreciate these because I can subconsciously take it bits and pieces, which will help me design my own. Did that make sense? xD

absolutely! c: I really took a wide amount of inspiration too. Suikoden is great because the story has a giant clash of cultures, and each game has a different fantasy country as it's basis, so there's a really wide range of characters and stuff. If fashion magazines are too embarrassing try surfing the fashion tag on tumblr! I've seen some really amazing things come up there.
I love these. :D Designing clothes can be hard, so this looks even more impressive ot me. (I haven't been very, uh, artistically conscious for very long, especially not with clothes -- males aren't ~supposed~ to be -- so I'm not practiced in thinking of good clothes. Although I think I've gotten good enough by now.) BUT YEAH, I LOVE THESE.
These remind me of characters in a video game world. :D
I should try something like this - just to get the ol' juices flowin', ya know? Clothes are sometimes more annoying than they are worth (pants are for squares) so any research is needed. P:
On a side note - I always have trouble coming up with poses so I'm awestruck how you can come up with all those different poses. Hats off to you!

A lot of them were inspired by video game characters, so maybe that's why? 8D
It's really fun, I definitely recommend it! Once you've done a couple I find it got really easy to keep going too.
For some reason I've always had a fairly good knack for poses. Probably because I've taken a bunch of life drawing classes? They're really really helpful for learning how to gesture and pose quickly c:
