Until today I have only experience in three german high-speed trains. But not the fastest wich is called ICE3 and is running between Frankfurt/Main and Cologne. And newest in Germany runs the TGV from Stuttgart over the border to France until Paris. There are a lot of chances to ride in an high-speed trains... but because of working I have not so much time. But maybe it will change a little bit next time :)
Cool!
My high-speed rail experiences have been:
* JR "Shinkansen" 300 series Ogawara - Tokyo, E1 series Tokyo - Gala Yuzawa (return)
* Eurostar Class 373 EMU Ashford - Brussels (return)
* Thalys PBKA Brussels - Cologne (return)
* GNER Class 225 London - Leeds (return)
Which isn't too shabby considering trains in my home country (NZ) rarely exceed 90kph! :)
