Number 22 for my Ladies of Arda Portfolio (info can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1980006/ ) This is Finduilas, mother to Boromir and Faramir, played by
's character Zelda.
Finduilas was the wife of Denethor II, Ruling Steward of Gondor. Born in 2950 of the Third Age, the daughter of Prince Adrahil of Dol Amroth, Finduilas was the beautiful and devoted mother of Boromir and Faramir. However, during twelve years of marriage, she found herself increasingly isolated from her brooding husband. She also appeared to miss her childhood home by the sea. Wasting away, she died in 2988.
And now, the only one left to finish is my own, which will of course be Luthien as Luthien. :D

This is lovely, and a very good interpretation of Finduilas' story.
I can't wait to see your final version of Luthien as Lúthien Tinúviel.
When you put the portfolio together, will you be captioning them in elvish? (I'm the goof who offered to help you with tengwar in the unlikely chance you needed it.)

I'm not really sure yet what I want to do with the final book. I need to look into printing costs and see what they're going to charge for binding before I even consider adding any text. I think if anything, what I'm going to do is just have a blank page next to the artwork that just has the character name, the person who's playing them, and who commissioned the piece. Still thinking on it.
