Did you know that this is the first time in the six years he's been my character that I've drawn Bryce smiling?

Yes, he has clinical depression. Yes, even aside from that, his life is rather terrible. But you know what? Sometimes you just have to be as positive as you can be. It sounds insensitive and trite, but...it's true.

Being upset about what's gone wrong is one thing. Obsessing over it and doing absolutely nothing to fix it is another. (...Yes, this is partly a message to myself too.)

This is one of the first serious attempts with my new coloring methods since I figured out what I wanted to do here (though this turned out softer), and...I definitely like where this is going. A lot. <3
