So once a month I go to this awesome event called "Dr. Sketchy's" at a local bar. It's essentially a life drawing class but it takes place at a bar. There's a band, booze, and the models are dressed up in sexy themes and take risque poses. Otherwise, it's very much like a regular lifedrawing class, with 2, 5 and 10 minute poses. Oh, and with contests for two of the 10 minute poses. There's chapters all over the US, I highly recommend it!

You can use any medium, I tend to use marker. My gesture style tends to be radically different than my norm and I feel it helps keep me loose.

I actually won second in one of the contests last night, though I'm not posting that picture 'cos I wasn't very happy with it XD Have this one instead, which i felt was my best for the night despite the meltyface. It was one of the 5 minute sketches. The theme last night was misfit toys and she was dressed like a reject doll.
