This was done by Johannes at Iron Works Tattoo in Portsmouth, NH. And the translation is "life is brief, love is eternal" in Irish Gaelic. This piece is in honor of my Nana and Papa (who passed away two months between eachother).

Thanks! OH GOD DID THIS HURT EVER. I cried a little when he did the second bird. it's like i just ran out of pain tolerance and it hurt 10x as bad as the first bird. i mean sharp awful pain. but i got through it and grew some balls as a result. now i feel like i can deal with anything. :3 it's very empowering getting through an experience like that.
