ok get this, it's called Renpy. it's a visual novel engine with a super easy coding language.. but then this other guy made an add-on for all sorts of different RPG battle systems (including strategy grid-based stuff)

Ah you always do so well with the pixels, putting detail in such a simple form yet still making it look complex is just amazing, and you make odd proportions work! I should call you a butt head for having that ability as i am jealous, but it's a good thing, a compliment. lol
