This was after we moved the suet feeder from the tree to the line along with the other feeders. Naturally, that didn't stop them. It's still too close to the tree. They can't (or won't) walk on the wire for some reason, but they can either just jump, or scramble over it a short distance to throw themselves at the tree. It's amusing to watch, but if there were a cat at the base of the tree... Anyway, we got them a corn feeder, with the little table and seat and everything. After we moved that suet feeder, they were chittering away like crazy, obviously mad or upset at the loss of the suet, hence the corn feeder. If we let them, they'll go through two ears a day.
