Q: How does payment work?
A: I ask for HALF of the payment upfront and won't start your commission until it's recieved. Please send the amount in CAD. I ask for the other half after the piece is completed and approved.

Any ideas you have regarding the commission:DISCLAIMER: 1. Payments are non-refundable. The only instance where I would refund a payment is if I was unable to complete your commission. If I'm half-way finished your commission when you decide to cancel, you're still responsible for the time I spent working on it.
2. Small edits are free. If I am required to edit something major caused by the lack of information you've given me, there will be a fee.
3. You're allowed to repost the image I've drawn for you so long as you link back to my account and leave my signature on the image.
4. When I'm commissioned, I don't typically show progress shots unless requested. If you'd like to see a sketch beforehand, ask me with your initial commission request!

For people wondering what happened to the last one, it's in scraps. :) The prices are all the same, though for now. I added varying prices based on backgrounds in the same style as your commission (which makes much more sense than having 1 fee being the same between a painted background and a sketched background). Also new: animated icons! I'll make your character do something very small for $10 (like blink), but for something else like a wagging tail or flicking ears, that'll be a little extra.
You mean use my prices to determine what your prices should be? Prices depend on a lot of things, mainly supply and demand. I had to start out considerably lower simply because not enough people were interested in my art. I also try to base it off minimum wage ($10 an hour) but I rarely ever charge the same amount of hours that I actually put into something hahaha. I'd recommend asking a couple people what you think you should cost, and then as you get a reputation, your prices will raise with it.
ahh alright O.O wise words, very wise. Never considered to keep prices low till the popularity of the art increases. Thank you soo much on your insite and advice :D Will consider everything ya said and ill ask around to be sure about some thoughts. Also thank you for responding to my post! :D!
