My mom had this zebra finch when I was growing up. I'm not sure how long they're supposed to live, but this thing didn't die until I was in college. It had to have been 16 years old or more. Miss that thing. It's name was Bird.
I drew this because my cat was yawning at me.
Bright, saturated colors are not my thing. Poor guy looks like a cartoon >_<

Bird would throw seeds at me I never really looked at his eyes ^_^ I only ever got close to him when he managed to slip out of the cage while mom was cleaning it up. Just have to wait about 5 minutes for his fatty out of shape birdbutt to land then go pick him up and shove him back in the cage.
