Over the years, I had been making a series of handmade greeting cards - mainly for birthdays and the holidays - under the fictitious brand name Apathetic Cards, Inc.® (whose motto has always been "Who cares about the very best?")
In fact, some of my greeting card art already appears in my "FA" gallery. Here are a few links to some of them:

One of my earliest holiday greeting cards (dating back to the mid-1990s) was partially inspired by a holiday rubber stamp image of Warner Brothers cartoon character 'Pepe Le Pew' - who, in addition to wearing a winter scarf around his neck, had a headband with a sprig of mistletoe hanging over his noggin. That animated amorous skunk will do anything to get kissed!
Following suit, I'd rendered a two-panel comic gag, in which my bobcat 'fursona' decided to wear a similar headband/mistletoe device, in a bold attempt to get some holiday kisses himself...
In Panel One (which appeared on the cover of the greeting card), Rob approaches a skunkette, who is slightly startled by the bobcat's puckered puss, in anticipation of some osculation...
In Panel Two (inside said card), it appears that the female skunk was ready for just such a situation - possessing a spring of her own mistletoe, hung in a very provocative position!
